BUFFALO BILL ($60,000 – $80,000)

William Frederick Cody was born February 26, 1846, in present day Iowa.

He would go on to become an American soldier, bison hunter and showman.

During the American Civil War, Cody signed a contract with the Kansas Pacific Railroad to supply their employees with buffalo meat.

Over the next 18 months, he killed 4,282 buffalo (nearly 250 per month)!!!

As it came to pass, Cody and another hunter, named Bill Comstock both wanted to use the nickname, “Buffalo Bill”. To settle their ‘dispute’, they agreed to take part in a competition.

Whoever killed more buffalo over a span of eight-hours, would earn exclusive rights to the moniker.

Cody emerged victorious by hunting down and killing 68 animals – to Comstock’s 48. What does that have to do with Match and Fable’s latest role?

That said, while you’re ‘here’, we’d like to tell you about yet another one of Janna French’s roles. This time, she’s looking for a Truckmate Support Specialist in the Transportation industry, in Concord or Calgary! POSITION: TRUCKMATE SUPPORT SPECIALIST

INDUSTRY: TRANSPORTATION (TL + LTL) LOCATION: ANYWHERE IN CANADA (100% WFH) RESPONSIBILITIES:

· Assist internal teams + departments + users with all Truckmate related matters

· Actively participate in software migration projects – working closely with key stakeholders

· Develop new processes & application modules to support ongoing needs of the business

· Assist with multiple TMS related projects

REQUIREMENTS:

· 3+ years’ Truckmate experience

· 5+ years’ experience in Corporate IT environment

· 3-year post-secondary degree/diploma in computer technologies (or related field)

· AEC / DEP or Skilled Trade Certificate (nice to have)

· Understanding of document Imaging systems such as Microdea Synergize, and others (nice to have)

· Valid driver’s license and ability to travel locally (must)

· Exposure to Azure, SharePoint, and Office 365

· Working experience with wide range of software + utilities + protocols + support tools

· Strong understanding of Windows Operating Systems (Windows 10, Server 2012-19)

· Strong understanding of EDI (asset) + ability to create Crystal Reports

· Experience with Mobile applications such as Peoplenet and Omnitracs

· Experience working with SQL commands and Stored Procedures on IBM DB2 database

REMUNERATION:

BASE SALARY: $60,000 – $80,000 OTHER: benefits + vacation + rrsp plan
