The superhero, Superman was co-created by Jerry Siegel and Joe Shuster, in the 1930s. That said, while we have your attention, Melisa Jones is looking for a Sales Executive for one of our newest clients who coincidentally happens to know a lot about steel (and other metals, for that matter)! POSITION: SALES EXECUTIVE (METAL TRADER) TERRITORY: GREATER TORONTO / HAMILTON AREA INDUSTRY: METALS – RECYCLING - INDUSTRIAL

RESPONSIBILITIES:

· Business development with a specialized focus, selling into the Industrial industry to achieve sales quota.

· The role also includes retention targets via SoW to maintain and grow business with current clientele.

· Forecast, track client account performance metrics, vertical and market specific research and understand industry trends.

· Pricing presentations and proposals.

· Ensure proper and adequate equipment is in place with vendors.

· Utilize company CRM and attend industry events to represent the company and its offerings.

REQUIREMENTS:

· Post Secondary Education (preferred).

· Experience in the metals industry would be a huge plus!

· Keen attention to detail and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

· Robust negotiation skills coupled with a true sense of urgency.

· Desire to learn (and excel) within the metals industry.

· Strong computer skills with knowledge of Microsoft Office programs, e-marketing, and web research.
