In the world of bold escapes, one story stands out – ‘above’ the rest.
It’s a tale of love, guts, and a plan so extraordinary; it seemed straight from a movie. But what could drive a woman to such extremes for someone with such a dark past? Michel Vaujour, a notorious French bank robber, had spent years in and out of prison. By 1986, he was incarcerated in Paris’s high-security Santé Prison, his spirit unbroken despite multiple failed escapes. His wife, Nadine, however, never wavered. Desperate to reunite with him, Nadine hatched a daring plan. She secretly enrolled in flying lessons under a false name, determined to learn how to fly.
On May 26, 1986, Nadine was ready. With a rented helicopter hovering over the prison yard, she waited. Michel, armed with a fake gun and a ruse to get on the roof, was in position. The helicopter swooped down, Michel climbed aboard, and they flew away into the sky.
The escape stunned the world, but their freedom was short-lived.
A nationwide manhunt ensued, and four months later, Michel was caught, with Nadine following soon after. What does this have to do with Match and Fable’s newest role? Nothing at all. That said, while you’re here, George Stankovic is looking for a Senior Account Executive in the GTA!
With 50+ years of experience, our client specializes in freight forwarding, customs brokerage, warehousing, and supply chain management – with a particular focus in the retail, manufacturing, and technology industries.
This position is a combination of business development and account management. POSITION: SENIOR ACCOUNT EXECUTIVE LOCATION: GREATER TORONTO AREA INDUSTRY: 3PL / CUSTOMS BROKERAGE
RESPONSIBILITIES
· Develop new client relationships and generate business revenue streams.
· Identify and pursue new business opportunities within Canada.
· Create and implement a prospecting plan to target potential clients.
· Maintain a strong understanding of client business segments and competitive solutions.
· Analyze client needs to develop tailored service solutions.
· Negotiate pricing and conditions for services, proposing complementary offerings.
· Anticipate client demand evolution and adapt service offerings accordingly.
· Collaborate with internal teams to create innovative value propositions.
· Utilize the company CRM for effective portfolio management and information sharing.
REQUIREMENTS
· 3+ years of mid-to-senior-level solution sales experience.
· MUST HAVE: 3PL / Freight Forwarding / Transportation industry.
· Proficient in Microsoft Office; experience with Salesforce CRM is a plus.
· Proven track record in integrated solution selling with proven sales accomplishments.
· Innovative mindset with a focus on driving change.
· Detail-oriented and highly organized with strong presentation / communication skills.
REMUNERATION
BASE SALARY: $110,000 – $150,000
ON-TARGET VARIABLE: $70,000 (uncapped) ON-TARGET EARNINGS: $180,000 – $220,000 WHAT NOW?
