Kelly Johnson was born in Ishpeming, Michigan. At the age of 13, he won a prize for his first aircraft design. Years later, he earned high-level degrees in Aeronautical Engineering from the University of Michigan. In his professional career, Johnson became the Lead Engineer at the Lockheed Skunk Works, where he was instrumental in creating the Lockheed U-2, Lockheed SR-71, and the Blackbird spy plane – among others! Mr. Johnson is also credited with coining the term, ‘Keep it Simple, Stupid’ – a design principle based on the premise, most systems work best, when kept as simple as possible. What does that have to do with Match and Fable’s latest role? Absolutely nothing! That said, while you’re here, we’d like to tell you about another one of Janna French’s roles. This time, she’s looking for an Inside Sales Representative in the Transportation industry in Western Canada! POSITION:    INSIDE SALES REPRESENTATIVE INDUSTRY:    TRANSPORTATION (TL + LTL) LOCATION:   ANYWHERE IN WESTERN CANADA RESPONSIBILITIES:

1. Manage existing portfolio of customers and work to increase share of wallet (50%)

2. Actively prospect for new leads and collaborate with Senior Account Executives to ensure qualified leads are handed off effectively (50%)

3. Achieve sales targets

4. Work with Operations Team to execute and optimize new / existing business models

5. Gain thorough knowledge of domestic LTL/Intermodal/TL marketplace including the competitive landscape, market challenges and trends

6. Build & maintain longstanding partnerships with customers and act as a key ambassador of the company

REQUIREMENTS:

1. 2+ years sales & account management experience

2. Knowledge of current landscape/geography/trends of the LTL/Intermodal/TL industry

3. Motivated / self-starter / confident / effective communicator

4. Self-driven; sales “hunting” mindset

5. Ability to multi-task and adapt to ever-changing, high-pressure environments

6. Willingness to grow and develop within the transportation logistics environment

REMUNERATION:

BASE SALARY: $52,000 – $62,000 ON-TARGET VARIABLE: $10,000 – $14,000 (uncapped) ON-TARGET EARNINGS: $62,000 – $76,000 OTHER: benefits + vacation INTERESTED?
