Eurovision, is an international song competition featuring participants representing primarily European countries. In 1978, Luxembourg’s entry into the Eurovision Contest was a song titled – “Parlez-vous français?” It was performed in French, by the Spanish disco duo – Baccara.
As far as the contest was concerned, they didn’t do so great – placing 7th in a field of 20 entries.
That said, it ended up being one of the year’s best-selling entries, reaching #8 in Sweden, #18 in Austria, #21 in West Germany and #30 on the Dutch singles charts!

That said, Janna French is looking for a Bilingual Logistics Co-ordinator for her transportation industry client. The position can be based in the GTA, or the GMA and the candidate will need to “parlez français” – (as well as English)! This individual will handle all freight movements - from cradle to grave. This position requires strong communication, incredible attention to detail, the ability to pivot, and top-shelf time management skills.
POSITION: LOGISTICS COORDINATOR (BILINGUAL) LOCATION: GTA OR GMA (REMOTE) INDUSTRY: TRANSPORTATION
RESPONSIBILITIES:
§ Handle assigned client requests for freight movement
§ Collaborate with various internal departments including logistics technicians, csr, sales, etc.
§ Build + maintain strong carrier relationships
§ Participate in continuous improvement training + help train fellow colleagues
§ Negotiation with clients + carriers
§ Maintain + follow SOPs for group of clients
§ Provide backup support for team, where required
§ Communicate with clients on a regular basis on any shipments being handled
REQUIREMENTS:
§ 3+ years of relevant industry experience in logistics operations
§ Basic proficiency with MS Office Suite
§ Knowledge base of driver's HOS (hours of service) + various types of transport equipment
§ Global shipping management/customs clearance experience preferred
§ Ability to handle / prioritize multiple tasks simultaneously and maintain focus
§ Ability to conduct detailed procedures in a time constrained environment
§ Strong written + verbal communication skills in both English and French
REMUNERATION:
SALARY: $60,000 – $65,000 (+ BONUS POTENTIAL)
