POSITION: MARKETING MANAGER
REPORTS TO: DIRECTOR, MARKETING (CANADA)
OFFICE: NORTH YORK (~50% WORK FROM HOME)
RESPONSIBILITIES:
· Work with members of Canadian marketing team, sales, and management to develop & implement an integrated communication and marketing strategy to grow audience awareness, support income generation and build a positive brand
· Translate business and product strategies via compelling marketing communications, campaigns and programs for the Canadian market aimed at target audiences (end-users, architects and designers, and company’s dealer network) that drive interest and sales, including content development, design, implementation, tracking, results reporting, analysis, and recommendations
· Lead creation and distribution of effective strategic selling tools to meet unique needs of Canadian sales team and dealer network
· Build strong cross-functional relationships with internal teams (US and International Regional Marketing, Digital and Product Marketing, Operations) to integrate marketing tactics into new / existing programs
· Aid in creating effective training programs and support materials for sales & dealers in partnership with other internal sales groups
· Participate in identifying and evaluating new technologies, platforms and applications that enhance product / solution visualization capabilities, modernize the marketing approach, and create more efficient processes; to attract, engage and communicate with target audiences better
· Manage + onboard external agency partners
· Develop creative concepts, write compelling and creative copy and design deliverables for events in partnership with Events Manager
· Support internal departments via writing or revising communications targeted at sales and dealer network
· Manage high volumes of tasks and projects and react with appropriate urgency to situations and events
· Broad knowledge of the marketing landscape and what makes customers tick
REQUIREMENTS:
· University or College degree in Marketing or Business Management or Communications
· 7 – 10 years of marketing and communications experience, preferably with product marketing or B2B marketing experience, supporting sales teams
· Adept marketing storyteller – who can translate data & insights into compelling marketing narratives to support selling activities. Impeccable attention to detail, particularly around copywriting, design & presentation development, is a must-have
· A strategic and self-driven marketer who can motivate and organize cross-functional stakeholders
· Ability to understand and communicate complex subject matter or solutions for various audiences
· High level of professionalism, discipline, and creativity + the ability to work well with internal / external parties and work independently, is essential
· Strong comfort level working with senior leaders in a fast-paced environment and an equally strong ability to analyze and articulate complex situations and issues
· Highly proficient in Microsoft 365 Suite, Adobe Creative Suite, and Google Workspace applications
· Proficient with an enterprise-level CRM and integrated marketing automation platform
· Bilingual (English / French) would be awesome
REMUNERATION:
SALARY: $72,000 – $90,000
