What does this have to do with Match and Fable’s latest role? Nothing, really. That said, now that we have your attention, Mate Pavkovic is looking for a Legal Assistant in Toronto. PS: The role is 70% WFH. SUMMARY In this hybrid WFH position, the Legal Assistant will work clients and follow up with the patent application progress. The Legal Assistant will be detail oriented, having experience organizing and monitoring the progress of legal documentation, as well as communicating pertinent information to clients. The Legal Assistant will be familiar, preferably in the full patent prosecution practice with experience in IP docketing and billing. POSITION: LEGAL ASSISTANT LOCATION: TORONTO, ONTARIO (WFH 70%) RESPONSIBILITIES:
Review and report prosecution documents to the client
Monitor and follow up with appropriate parties to notify them regarding due dates and deadlines
Correspond and send reminders to clients
Review clients’ instructions and action
Open and close client files, as well as billing clients
REQUIREMENTS:
3years’ experience in a similar role
Canadian and US patent experience
Experience in a high-volume work environment
Excellent collaboration skills with the ability to work independently
Strong communication skills (written and spoken)
Attention to detail, time management and prioritization skills
REMUNERATION:
