The truth is a supernova explosion is an extremely rare occurrence.

So much so, that the last documented supernova in our galaxy (the Milky Way), happened over 400 years ago.

The term ‘nova’ is also used to describe the explosion of a star, but a supernova has way more energy!

That said, while you’re here, we’d like to tell you about another one of Janna French’s mandates. This time, she’s looking for a Dispatcher in Montreal! POSITION: DISPATCHER

INDUSTRY: TRANSPORTATION (TL + LTL) LOCATION: MONTREAL RESPONSIBILITIES:

· Dispatch company drivers and owner/operators

· Schedule loads based on safety, customer service and load efficiency from client information received

· Ensure optimal truck cube utilization

· Provide clients with professional and timely support on a variety of issues

· Create, communicate, schedule, and maintain the driver/delivery schedules

· Communicate and assign pickups and deliveries to drivers

· Confirm loads have been delivered

· Record/document all incidents to management

· Record customer orders, messages, and requests; forward to appropriate areas

· Record deliveries in the format as required by the customer

· Ensure drivers are performing responsibilities in a safe, reliable, and professional manner

· Report in compliance with customer specifications

REQUIREMENTS:

· 3+ years’ experience transportation with various intermodal knowledge including LTL + FL via Road + Rail (preferred)

· Strong knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Access (required)

· Intermediate+ working knowledge of AS400 and MS Office

· Bilingual in oral/written French/English (required)

· Must be well organized with high attention to detail

· Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment and be flexible to changing priorities

· Must have own transportation

· Willingness to assist others and go the extra mile

REMUNERATION:

SALARY: $62,000 - $65,000 OTHER: benefits + rrsp matching + vacation
