During Game 6 of Major League Baseball’s NL Championship Series in 2003, a Chicago Cubs fan named Steve Bartman interfered with Cubs outfielder Moises Alou's attempt to catch a foul ball. His interference ostensibly cost the team a crucial out which led to their loss in the game, forcing a Game 7 that they also lost. Angry fans vilified Bartman and media outlets hounded him for interviews. He even received death threats which forced him to go into hiding. Despite this, he never spoke publicly about the incident and has become a symbol of the Cubs' curse. The team finally broke the curse by winning the World Series in 2016 – thirteen years later! What does this have to do with Match and Fable’s latest role?
