700 BARS OF SOAP ($130,000+)



A few weeks ago, Sheldon Rushton, a construction worker in Halifax faced a unique challenge when tasked with moving a 200-year-old, 440,000-pound building to make space for a new apartment complex. Rushton's wife, Leanne, visited 15 stores and purchased 700 bars of Ivory soap, known for its softness and ability to stick to steel beams for a smoother slide. Rushton's construction crew inserted the steel beams for support, used the soap to make the beams and the building slippery, and successfully moved the structure 30 feet back!

REPORTS TO:  VP, SALES INDUSTRY:   LOGISTICS / COURIER / TRANSPORTATION SUMMARY:

 

Reporting to the VP, Sales, the National Account Executive will communicate and sell value, for one-of-a-kind, custom-tailored, logistics solutions to new clients in the retail space – across the GTA and North America!  Our client’s solution is ‘untapped’ by their competitors and completely unique in the logistics and supply chain space.  This candidate will have the autonomy to build an outstanding portfolio of new clients!

 

RESPONSIBILITIES:

 

·       Prospect new clients, research customer value statements and create / present customized solutions.

·       Communicate the company’s key differences (to the ‘big guy’ competitors) and SELL VALUE.

·       Conduct client meetings and presentations, ranging from fact-finding to closing the deal.

·       Secure new business, with a focus on large, national clients with a brick-and-mortar presence.

·       Strategically identify key opportunities and present value-based solutions.

·       Generate new business and manage the full acquisition sales cycle.

·       Keep up-to-date data and effectively report on opportunities via company CRM (Maximizer).

 

REQUIREMENTS:

 

·       The innate ability to STRATEGICALLY HUNT new business and sell value – not the lowest price!

·       Exceptional communication, presentation, and leadership skills.

·       A go-getter who is self-motivated while still working in a collaborative team environment.

REMUNERATION:

 

BASE SALARY: $90,000 ON-TARGET VARIABLE: $40,000+ (uncapped)

ON-TARGET EARNINGS: $130,000

OTHER:  car allowance + phone + laptop, comprehensive full benefits, RRSPs, vacation, hybrid office / WFH
