BLABBERMOUTH ($103,000 – $109,000)

On August 8, 1963, a gang of 15 robbers executed a meticulously planned heist, stealing £2.6 million from a Royal Mail train in the UK. The men used a fake signal to stop the train, then overpowered the crew and loaded the cash into their vehicles.

Initially, ‘The Great Train Robbery’ was a remarkable success, as everyone managed to get away without being captured. However, fearing for his safety and wanting to cut a deal, one of the robbers soon turned informant. He leaked crucial details about the heist to the police, including information about the gang's members and where they were hiding out.

This information led to a series of arrests, and within months, most of the robbers had been captured. The event sparked a massive media frenzy and changed how security was managed for railways in the UK. What does this have to do with Match and Fable’s newest role? Nothing really.
