Alfred Fielding and Marc Chavannes sealed two plastic shower curtains together, trapping pockets of air between them. The result was textured, modern, and as far as they were concerned … exactly what homeowners wanted for their walls.

Nobody bought it.

They didn't give up on the material. They gave up on the use.So they tried again – this time pitching it as insulation for greenhouses.

That failed too.

Then, almost by accident, someone at a company shipping typewriters noticed something: wrapped around a fragile machine, those little air pockets absorbed shocks better than anything else on the market.

The wallpaper nobody wanted. The insulation nobody bought.

It's now wrapped around almost everything you've ever ordered online.

You know it as Bubble Wrap.

That said, while you're here ... Match and Fable recruiters – Jeanne Agius and Woody have partnered with one of Canada's fastest-growing franchise brands to recruit a Regional Manager for Ontario East.

This is a business leadership role for someone who thrives in multi-unit operations and enjoys building strong relationships with franchise partners. You'll serve as the trusted advisor to a portfolio of franchisees, helping them improve profitability, strengthen operations, develop their people, and consistently deliver an exceptional guest experience.

You'll have the autonomy to make an impact, the support of an experienced leadership team, and the opportunity to play a key role as the organization continues its rapid expansion across Canada.

POSITION:      REGIONAL MANAGER LOCATION:    ONTARIO EAST RESPONSIBILITIES:

·       Partner with franchisees to drive sales, profitability, and operational excellence across the region.

·       Coach and develop General Managers while building strong, accountable leadership teams.

·       Conduct regular restaurant visits to ensure exceptional execution, brand standards, and guest experiences.

·       Analyze financial performance and implement action plans to improve results.

·       Support new store openings, regional initiatives, and operational rollouts.

·       Ensure compliance with company policies, food safety, and operating procedures.

·       Identify opportunities to improve performance and share best practices across the region.

·       Build trusted relationships with franchise partners while serving as their primary business advisor.

·       Monitor key performance indicators and provide regular business updates to senior leadership.

REQUIREMENTS:

·       5+ years of multi-unit restaurant or franchise operations leadership experience.

·       Previous franchise support experience is considered a strong asset.

·       Demonstrated success managing multiple locations while improving operational performance.

·       Strong financial acumen with experience managing P&Ls, budgets, labour, and food costs.

·       Exceptional coaching, leadership, and relationship-building skills.

·       Highly organized with the ability to prioritize multiple projects and initiatives.

·       Strong communication and problem-solving abilities.

·       Valid driver's license with the ability to travel extensively throughout the assigned territory.

REMUNERATION:

BASE SALARY: $80,000 – $110,000

PERFORMANCE BONUS (15%): $12,000 – $16,500

ON-TARGET EARNINGS: $92,000 – $126,500 OTHER: health benefits + mileage + vacation + career growth opportunities
