On August 8, 1963, fifteen men pulled off one of the most audacious heists in British history.

The men used a fake signal to stop a Royal Mail train in the UK and then overpowered the crew. They loaded £2.6 million in cash into their vehicles and disappeared before anyone knew what hit them. The Great Train Robbery was, by every measure, a masterpiece.

That was, until one of their own started singing.

One man (scared, calculating, or both), walked into a police station and opened his mouth.Names. Hideouts. Details only an insider could know.

Within months, most of the gang were behind bars.

Fifteen men executed a perfect plan and one canary dismantled it. What does this have to do with Match and Fable’s role? Nothing at all. That said, while we’ve got your attention, Jeanne Agius is looking for a Sales Development Rep to join our client’s team. This position is WFH and can be located anywhere in Eastern Canada. Our client provides a market-leading SaaS platform that helps global brands and retailers optimize supply chains, manage suppliers, reduce waste, and improve quality and compliance.

This is a pure outbound role: you’ll generate opportunities, book meetings, and drive the pipeline for Account Executives. You’ll work with a complex, high-demand product solving real problems prospects immediately recognize. POSITION:    SALES DEVELOPMENT REP TERRITORY:   EASTERN CANADA (WFH) INDUSTRY:    SOFTWARE (SaaS)

RESPONSIBILITIES

 

·         Outbound Prospecting: Cold call, email, and use LinkedIn to reach decision-makers in supply chain, operations, compliance, and ESG.

·         Lead Qualification: Understand each prospect’s pain points and qualify opportunities based on needs, budget, and timeline.

·         Meeting Generation: Book high-quality discovery calls and demos for Account Executives—your success is measured by meetings booked.

·         Collaboration: Work closely with Marketing, Account Executives, and sales leadership to improve campaigns and outreach strategies.

·         CRM Operations: Maintain accurate deal and contact data in Salesforce or HubSpot.

·         Continuous Improvement: Analyze outreach results, share insights, and optimize messaging.

 

REQUIREMENTS

 

·         1–2 years’ experience as an SDR/BDR in B2B SaaS or tech.

·         Comfortable cold calling, emailing, and LinkedIn outreach; able to communicate value to executives in supply chain, operations, or ESG.

·         Experience with LinkedIn Sales Navigator, Outreach, Salesforce or HubSpot.

·         Smart, curious, self-directed, highly organized, and able to handle high outbound activity.

·         Preferred: experience selling into retail, CPG, supply chain, quality, or ESG tech. Knowledge of retail supply chain processes, PLM, sourcing, or compliance is a plus.

 

REMUNERATION

 

BASE SALARY: $60,000 – $70,000 ON-TARGET EARNINGS: $85,000 – $100,000
