WHY THIS ROLE IS PERFECT FOR MEDIA PROFESSIONALS: Your connections matter – those agency relationships you've built? They're pure gold here. Your industry knowledge pays off – understanding media planning, buying cycles, and client needs gives you a massive advantage. WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING:
Target the advertising agencies you already know and understand.
Develop strategies for both agency and direct-client relationships across Radio, TV + Digital platforms. Generate proposals that make sense because you understand what buyers actually want. Build on existing relationships while hunting for new accounts.
Focus on digital audio advertising to national brands.
WE'RE LOOKING FOR:
Media buyers/planners or digital advertising professionals ready to transition to sales. 3+ years in media/advertising (agency or client-side). Existing Toronto agency connections. Someone who understands both traditional and digital media landscapes.
THE REWARD:
BASE SALARY: $80,000 – $100,000
COMMISSION: $35,000+ (uncapped)
ON-TARGET EARNINGS (YEAR 1): $115,000 – $135,000 (uncapped)
PLUS: cell phone + health benefits
