Lulu Lakatos was a pro. And, in 2009, posing as a gem expert named "Anna," she orchestrated a daring £4.2 million diamond heist at London's Boodles jewelry store.

Through expert sleight of hand, she swapped valuable diamonds with pebbles in locked bags and made a clean getaway. Clean job – or so she thought!

On her way out, Lakatos did what any of us might do after a hard day’s work: grabbed a ham sandwich. She paid with her own card and sat outside munching away like she hadn’t just pulled off a major heist.

Cops traced the sandwich receipt, pulled the deli’s security footage, and boom – there she was, casually chewing her way into an airtight case against herself. Her alibi crumbled faster than the bread on her £4.50 lunch!

She was eventually nabbed in France and sentenced to 5 and a half years, but the watch was long gone.

Moral of the story: if you’re gonna steal diamonds – pack your own lunch. What does this have to do with Match and Fable’s latest role?

Nothing really.

That said, now that we have your attention, Jeanne Agius is looking for a Bilingual Sales Executive to join our client’s sales team in the Ottawa / Gatineau region!

SUMMARY:

 

Working from a home office with a company vehicle and gas card, the Sales Executive will manage a geographic territory using a structured sales process. This role requires quickly building strong client relationships and delivering value-based solutions. The Sales Executive will handle ~100 OEM auto dealership clients, ranging from minimal to exclusive business relationships. Responsibilities include nurturing existing business and developing strategies to secure new revenue.Sales will be generated through expanding current client opportunities and acquiring new strategic accounts.

POSITION:    SALES EXECUTIVE

INDUSTRY:   AUTOMOTIVE TERRITORY:  OTTAWA + GATINEAU RESPONSIBILITIES:

·         Build genuine relationships and loyalty with every client in your designated territory via regular sales calls.

·         Call on Parts Advisors, Parts Managers and Service Advisors at Auto Dealerships located in your territory.

·         Manage and grow business with ~100 accounts via regular sales calls (~15 – 20 per week).

·         ~60% of the role involves dealing with current clientele to increase share of wallet spend.

·         ~40% of the role involves targeting strategic accounts to win their business from the competition.

·         Develop transactional customers into loyal clients and lift loyal relationships to trusted advisor status.

·         Know your territory intimately … + develop multiple relationships (deep, high and wide) with every client.

·         Implement a business plan using CRM + other company tools.

 

REQUIREMENTS:

 

·         MUST HAVE: 3+ years’ sales experience, in a similar client facing sales role.

·         MUST BE: bilingual (English / French)

·         Clear understanding of the sales process.

·         Proficiency in dealing with client contacts at various levels and navigating past gatekeepers.

·         An internally driven, consultative & collaborative professional who is a strong presenter and great listener.

·         Strong capacity to identify client needs and apply products or services, as appropriate.

 

REMUNERATION:

 

BASE SALARY: $75,000 – $80,000 ON-TARGET VARIABLE: (15% of base) $11,000 – $12,000

ON-TARGET EARNINGS: $86,000 – $92,000 OTHER: benefits + company vehicle + gas card + work from home
