Jordan Ross Belfort was born in Queens, New York, on July 9, 1962.

As a young man, he found his calling in sales, selling ice cream at a local beach, and meat – from door-to-door.

In 1987, Belfort became a stockbroker trainee. Two years later … he founded Stratton Oakmont.

The company would earn millions in profits by defrauding investors with ‘pump and dump’ schemes – to the tune of more than $200 million.

In 2003, the man, better known as the ‘Wolf of Wall Street’, was sentenced to 4 years in prison and ordered to pay back $110 million!

What does this have to do with Match and Fable’s latest role?

That said, while Janna French is not looking for anyone to break the law, she is looking for a hunter sales professional with a ‘wolf-like’ mentality … who thrives in a business development role! SUMMARY

Our client has been providing security and customer service solutions for 20+ years. Their ‘people-first’ approach sets them apart in their industry and they’re looking to expand their model into new verticals.

They are looking for a Business Development Executive to generate new business and tap into new markets. POSITION: BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT EXECUTIVE LOCATION: GTA / HAMILTON / NIAGARA INDUSTRY: SECURITY OFFICE: 80% WFH


· Bring new business to the company + manage and build client relationships.

· Prospect new business via on-line, phone and face to face meetings.

· Ensure successful client implementation and monitor ongoing satisfaction.

· Execute a business development strategy designed to generate new business.

· Manage RFPs, including writing and delivering proposals and estimates with internal support.

· Meet (or exceed) all measurable sales objectives, quotas, and revenue goals.

· Develop genuine client relationships to become a preferred business partner.

· Prepare and facilitate presentations to customers and senior management.

· Represent and promote the company at networking events, conferences, and trade shows.

· Work with senior management to deploy a sales strategy and achieve objectives set for the business.


· Post secondary education (Diploma or Degree)

· ~5+ years of progressive, B2B, client facing sales experience.

· NICE TO HAVE: Experience selling into Residential, Commercial, Data Centers or Luxury Goods sectors.

· NICE TO HAVE: Security industry experience.


BASE SALARY: $75,000 – $90,000

ON-TARGET VARIABLE: $30,000 (at 100% of plan + ability to overachieve) ON-TARGET EARNINGS: $105,000 – $120,000
