In 1913, Theodore Roosevelt found himself deep in the Amazon, standing on a riverbank beside his Brazilian hosts. They had promised him a display of raw, untamed nature.
At their signal, a cow carcass was flung into the water. Within seconds, the river churned with teeth and splashes. Dozens of fish tore into the carcass, stripping it clean – in minutes! Roosevelt stood in awe. It was both terrifying and unforgettable.
He returned home with tales of the savage Amazonian piranha, creatures so fierce they could skeletonize a cow in the blink of an eye. The story spread and eventually fueled decades of pulp novels, horror movies, and campfire warnings about killer fish.
Only one detail never made it into the legend: the fish had been trapped in nets and starved for days. What Roosevelt witnessed wasn’t a glimpse of nature at all. It was a stage show.
The truth? Piranhas prefer fruit, minnows, and the occasional insect. Locals swim with them all the time. The only thing really dangerous that day was the myth Roosevelt carried home. What does this have to do with Match and Fable’s latest role? Absolutely nothing. That said, George Stankovic is seeking a bilingual Key Account Manager to lead operations for a national client. This client-facing role demands strong leadership, operational oversight, and relationship management. The Key Account Manager will ensure seamless service across multiple sites, rapid incident response, and compliance with client and regulatory requirements. The position requires availability for urgent matters, occasional overnight response, and travel. POSITION: KEY ACCOUNT MANAGER INDUSTRY: SECURITY LOCATION: GTA (HYBRID)
RESPONSIBILITIES:
· Develop and enforce security policies, procedures, and protocols
· Align operations with client goals and compliance standards
· Lead a regional team of ~45 staff across 8 sites (Toronto, Ottawa, Montreal, Saint John)
· Ensure 24/7 coverage and rapid incident response
· Serve as primary client contact during critical events, including after-hours
· Direct investigations and coordinate breach response efforts
· Recruit, train, and mentor staff at all levels
· Deliver monthly training sessions across all shifts
· Produce weekly executive and audit-ready security reports
· Maintain presence in Toronto office (2 days/week) and rotate through regional sites
· Partner with supervisors and managers to drive operational excellence
· Conduct regular GTA site visits and bi-weekly travel to Montreal
· Support urgent, short-notice travel during emergencies or early client engagements
REQUIREMENTS:
· 3+ years of experience in account management, operations, or security leadership
· Valid Security License and CPR/First Aid certification
· Strong understanding of security operations, frameworks, and best practices
· Proven experience managing incidents and breaches, including after-hours response
· Bilingual fluency in French and English (spoken and written)
· Exceptional organizational, leadership, and problem-solving skills
· Proficiency with Microsoft Teams, Zoom, and Excel
· Ability to perform under pressure, manage multiple priorities, and stay client-focused in crises
REMUNERATION:
SALARY: $85,000 – $90,000
