That said, while you’re here, Mate Pavkovic’s newest client in Houston, Texas is looking for both Associate and Member-level attorneys to join their growing team. The firm handles a diverse range of litigation matters including insurance defense, commercial disputes, construction claims, and personal injury defense. POSITION:      ASSOCIATE OR MEMBER ATTORNEY INDUSTRY:     LEGAL SERVICES LOCATION:    HOUSTON, TEXAS

RESPONSIBILITIES:

·         Handle all phases of litigation including pleadings, motions, discovery, depositions, hearings, mediations, and trials

·         Draft legal documents, memoranda, and client correspondence

·         Communicate with clients, opposing counsel, witnesses, and experts

·         Represent clients in court appearances, arbitrations, and mediations

·         Participate in case strategy planning and evaluations

·         Meet billable hour targets and internal deadlines

·         Collaborate with senior leadership and contribute to a collegial, team-driven environment

·         Mentor junior associates (Member Attorney level only)

REQUIREMENTS:

·         J.D. from an accredited law school

·         Licensed and in good standing with the State Bar of Texas

·         3–7 years of litigation experience for Associate-level candidates; 8+ years for Member-level attorneys

·         Strong oral advocacy and legal writing skills

·         Excellent time management and organizational abilities

·         Experience in one or more of the following areas: insurance defense, personal injury, construction law, or commercial litigation

REMUNERATION:

ASSOCIATE SALARY RANGE: $115,000 – $150,000 (USD) MEMBER SALARY RANGE: $190,000+ (USD) OTHER: comprehensive benefits
