In 2000, Peter Edwards walked into a William Hill betting shop in Wrexham with an ambitious wager in mind. He bet £50 that his young grandson, Harry, would one day represent Wales in football.

The bookmakers accepted the long shot bet, offering odds of 2,500 to 1.

 

Thirteen years later, the remarkable happened!

Sixteen-year-old Harry Wilson, a promising talent in Liverpool's academy, stepped onto the field as a substitute for the Wales national team. This moment not only marked the fulfillment of Peter Edwards' bet but also earned him £125,000!

 

Harry Wilson's debut for Wales also etched his name in the history books as he became the youngest player ever to don the national team's jersey during a World Cup qualifier match against Belgium.

What does this have to do with Match and Fable’s latest role?

Woody and George are teaming up to recruit for this position which involves selling cutting-edge renewable energy solutions to both B2B and B2C clientele. This is a wonderful opportunity to be part of the renewable energy movement and help customers transition to a cleaner, more sustainable future! POSITION:    SALES EXECUTIVE TERRITORY:  GREATER TORONTO AREA INDUSTRY:    RENEWABLE ENERGY

RESPONSIBILITIES

 

·         Identify and qualify prospective clients through cold calling, networking, referrals, and industry events.

·         Generate and maintain a strong pipeline of leads within the assigned territory.

·         Provide consultative sales approach – educating clientele to demonstrate value of solutions.

·         Identify and prioritize high potential sales opportunities.

·         Maintain records of sales activity, client interactions, and progress in CRM system.

·         Attend industry conferences and trade shows to build relationships and stay current on market trends.

 

REQUIREMENTS

 

·         Proven success in outside sales, preferably in renewable energy, construction, or real estate industries.

·         Strong negotiation, closing, and presentation skills with a consultative selling approach.

·         Self-motivated, goal-oriented, and able to manage time effectively in an autonomous role.

·         Excellent verbal and written skills with the ability to build rapport and trust.

·         Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation for travel within the assigned territory.

 

REMUNERATION

 

BASE SALARY: $55,000 – $58,000

ON-TARGET VARIABLE: $60,000 (uncapped) ON-TARGET EARNINGS: $120,000
