 On October 13, 1972, Flight 571, carrying 45 people – including a Uruguayan rugby team, their friends, family, and crew – crashed into the Andes while en route to Santiago, Chile.

Stranded at an altitude of 11,000 feet, in freezing temperatures with almost no food, the survivors faced brutal conditions. With no way to communicate and rescue efforts abandoned, their situation grew dire.

On December 12, Nando Parrado and Roberto Canessa set out on a desperate journey for help. Battling snow-covered peaks and treacherous terrain, they trekked for ten days before finally reaching civilization.

After more than two months in isolation, the remaining 16 survivors were rescued and brought to safety.

POSITION:    TRANSACTIONAL BANKING & FINANCE ATTORNEY

INDUSTRY:   LEGAL

LOCATION:   BUFFALO, NEW YORK RESPONSIBILITIES:

·         Represent lenders, borrowers, sponsors, and institutional investors in commercial finance transactions.

·         Handle asset-based finance, cash flow finance, senior, mezzanine, and subordinated finance, as well as leveraged and acquisition finance.

·         Assist clients in structured finance, private credit, and direct lending transactions.

·         Draft and review legal documents, including inter-creditor agreements, loan documents, and other finance-related agreements.

·         Provide legal advice and support to a variety of lending, finance, and investment banking/advisory clients.

·         Work collaboratively with other practice areas to provide comprehensive legal solutions.

REQUIREMENTS:

·         10+ years of experience in commercial finance law.

·         Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school.

·         Provide legal advice and support to a variety of lending, finance, and investment banking/advisory clients.

·         Strong understanding of financial institutions, from large multistate banks to non-traditional lenders.

·         Expertise in drafting, reviewing, and negotiating legal documents related to finance transactions.

REMUNERATION:

SALARY: $175,000 – $300,000 (USD) + bonus
