In the early 1900s, the Mona Lisa hung in the Louvre with almost no attention. No crowds, cameras or mystique. Then on August 21, 1911, the museum handyman vanished – and so did the painting.

Police questioned Picasso.

Crowds lined up just to stare at the empty wall.

Newspapers around the world ran breathless updates on the missing artwork.

Over two years later, in December 1913, the thief was caught in Florence, claiming he only wanted to “bring it home.” The painting returned to Paris … and this time, the crowds were enormous!

The Mona Lisa didn’t become famous because it was a masterpiece.

That said, while we have your attention, Mate Pavkovic is looking for a Senior Corporate Paralegal for our client – one of Western Canada’s largest full-service law firms, with offices in downtown Vancouver and Langley. For nearly 50 years, the firm’s success has been driven by the talent, ambition, and expertise of its dedicated team. The ideal candidate will join the firm’s Langley office and is highly organized, detail-oriented, and experienced in managing complex corporate transactions and mentoring junior team members. SENIOR CORPORATE PARALEGAL (LANGLEY, BC) THE GIG (IN 9 LINES OR LESS):

·         Join one of Western Canada’s largest full-service law firms.

·         Support complex corporate transactions from start to finish.

·         Draft incorporations, amendments, amalgamations, continuances, dissolutions, reorganizations, and more.

·         Manage share transactions, extra-provincial registrations, dividends, name changes, and restorations.

·         Mentor, train, and coach Corporate Services team members.

·         Review minute books and correct deficiencies.

·         Prepare closing agendas + act as primary contact for corporate client inquiries.

·         Partner closely with lawyers and clients to execute instructions.

·         Contribute to a fast-moving, highly professional corporate practice.

WHAT YOU BRING:

·         10+ years as a Corporate Paralegal in a busy practice.

·         3+ years training and managing others.

·         Paralegal Certificate or Diploma.

·         Proficient with BC Online, ALF, iManage, Outlook, and Word.

·         Highly organized with strong attention to detail.

·         Excellent written + verbal communication skills.

·         Ability to thrive under high volume and tight timelines.

·         Works well independently and within a team.

COMPENSATION:

·         $105,000 – $115,000 annual salary

·         Full benefits after 90 days (100% employer-paid premiums)
