During World War II, British and American air forces conducted bombing raids over Europe. To disrupt the enemy's radar systems, they dropped countless tiny strips of aluminum foil, known as "chaff," from their planes. These strips would create confusion on enemy radar screens.The challenge was that after releasing chaff over a large area, it needed to be collected for reuse.

Soldiers and airmen had to retrieve the chaff, which was basically like looking for needles in a massive haystack. They developed various techniques, including using magnets to collect the metallic strips, and in some cases, even trained pigeons to peck at the chaff to indicate its location.

Our client is a leading international distributor of replacement parts and accessories for material handling, industrial, and heavy equipment. POSITION:    CUSTOMER SERVICE COUNTER & CLAIMS COORDINATOR LOCATION:   MISSISSAUGA INDUSTRY:    INDUSTRIAL PARTS

RESPONSIBILITIES

·       Serve customers at the parts counter and process orders.

·       Handle customer inquiries, service issues, returns and warranty claims.

·       Coordinate with sales, technical, claims and customer service teams to resolve issues.

·       Manage shipments, credits, returns and related documentation.

·       Maintain accurate inventory and customer records.

REQUIREMENTS

·       2 to 3 years of customer service, sales support or administrative experience.

·       Strong customer service, communication and organizational skills.

·       Comfortable handling high-volume work, resolving issues and applying company policies.

·       Automotive, parts, industrial distribution or similar experience is an asset.

·       Strong Microsoft Office skills; Salesforce experience an asset.

·       High school diploma required; post-secondary education preferred.

REMUNERATION

BASE SALARY: $60,000 – $62,000

BONUS POTENTIAL: $3,000 ON-TARGET EARNINGS: $63,000 – $65,000
