The cities of Modena and Bologna had been rivals for generations, their feud simmering through decades of political and territorial disputes. But in 1325, tensions boiled over in the most ridiculous way imaginable! Under cover of darkness, Modenese soldiers infiltrated Bologna's central square. Their target? A simple wooden bucket from the public well. When Bologna discovered the theft, they took it as a grave insult - a humiliation that demanded blood. The city mustered an enormous army of 32,000 men and marched on Modena.

Against all odds, Modena's tiny force of 7,000 defeated the Bolognese at the Battle of Zappolino, where 2,000 soldiers perished. The victorious Modenese then added insult to injury by parading their stolen prize through enemy territory before returning home in triumph.

To this day, that very same bucket is displayed in Modena - a monument to the absurd lengths men will go for pride. The conflict became known as the "War of the Bucket," proving that some of history's most serious wars began over the most trivial of matters.

That said, while you’re here, we’re excited to tell you about our newest client – a leader in pharmaceutical solutions, focusing on clinical trials, patient support programs, and healthcare innovation. They collaborate with pharmaceutical companies, healthcare organizations, and research institutions to provide high-quality, patient-centered services.

For this mandate, Jeanne Agius is looking for an Account Executive to identify and secure new business opportunities in clinical trials and patient support programs. This role focuses on business development, sales growth, and strategic relationship management, to drive revenue while ensuring exceptional client satisfaction. POSITION:      ACCOUNT EXECUTIVE 4 LOCATIONS:  LONDON + TORONTO + OTTAWA + MONTREAL OFFICE:          REMOTE (WORK FROM HOME) INDUSTRY:      HEALTHCARE SOLUTIONS

RESPONSIBILITIES

 

·         Contribute to sales strategy design and manage full sales cycle for pharmaceutical solutions.

·         Build relationships with clients and partners, identifying new opportunities + strategic partnerships.

·         Optimize sales outcomes via effective negotiation, cross-selling, and upselling.

·         Lead contract renewals, ensure competitive proposals, using sales tools and CRM.

·         Strengthen client relationships and address inquiries and feedback.

·         Monitor client satisfaction, project performance, and seek opportunities for revenue growth.

·         Develop and maintain business plans to drive strategic goals while supporting margin optimization.

·         Contribute to quarterly forecasts, annual budget planning, and support success of the Business Unit.

·         Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth workflows and efficient operations.

 

REQUIREMENTS

 

·         5+ years of sales or business development experience in the pharmaceutical industry, with expertise in clinical trials, CROs, or patient support programs.

·         Post-secondary education in business, healthcare, or a related field.

·         Strong knowledge of the pharmaceutical sector, including drug development and regulatory frameworks.

·         Proven success in leading proposals, driving sales, and managing all stages of the sales cycle.

·         Exceptional communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.

·         Proficiency with CRM tools (Microsoft Office, HubSpot preferred).

·         Bilingual in English and French is an asset.

·         Willingness to travel for client meetings and industry events.

 

REMUNERATION

 

BASE SALARY: $90,000 – $140,000

ON-TARGET VARIABLE: $75,000 (uncapped) ON-TARGET EARNINGS: $165,000 – $215,000
