In December 2008, a man named Thomas Infante walked into a branch of Fifth Third Bank in Chicago just before closing. He approached the teller and handed over a note that read:“Be quick. Be quiet. Give your cash fast or I’ll shoot.”
The teller complied and within a few seconds, Infante walked out with $397 in cash.
At first, it looked like a routine robbery. But investigators soon noticed something strange about the note. The paper had been torn in half. One half stayed with the teller, while the other fell outside the bank entrance as Infante left.
When police matched the pieces together, they realized the note wasn’t written on scrap paper. It was written on the back of his own pay stub.
Printed on the front were his name, home address, and employer.
Police simply went to the address and arrested him. What does this have to do with Match and Fable’s role? Nothing at all. That said, while you’re here, Jeanne Agius is looking for a Territory Sales Manager in Western Canada for our multi-national client – a global supplier of replacement parts and equipment solutions serving industrial and technical sectors. POSITION: TERRITORY SALES MANAGER TERRITORY: WESTERN CANADA INDUSTRY: INDUSTRIAL PARTS
RESPONSIBILITIES
· Achieve territory sales targets (70% “on-the-road” developing business in Alberta and British Columbia).
· Schedule and conduct in-person visits and phone calls, aligning with management goals.
· Build relationships with key client contacts within the client base across the assigned territory.
· Keep clients up to date on product offerings and programs.
· Analyze client’s parts usage reports to drive additional sales and inform product offerings.
· Document sales visits, outcomes, and follow-ups in CRM, ensuring accuracy and relevancy.
· Ensure timely follow-ups with clients and internal teams to address issues or leverage sales opportunities.
REQUIREMENTS
· 5+ years of sales experience in the industrial equipment industry.
· Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and Google Products, with essential computer skills.
· Capable of making client presentations with excellent interpersonal and communication abilities.
· Strong business acumen, time management and organizational skills.
· The flexibility to travel across the territory to build strong relationships with clients and targets alike.
REMUNERATION
BASE SALARY: $90,000 – $110,000
ON-TARGET VARIABLE: (15% to 25% of base salary) ON-TARGET EARNINGS: $103,500 – $137,500
