PHILLY DIMES ($99,000 – $104,500)

On April 13, 2023, in Philadelphia, a truck carrying freshly minted dimes from the U.S. Mint was parked overnight in a Walmart parking lot while the driver slept before continuing the trip to Miami. By sunrise, thieves had broken into the trailer and stolen roughly 2 million dimes – about $200,000 in coins.

The craziest part? Two million dimes weigh roughly 10,000 pounds. That’s about the same as a full-grown African elephant or five tons of steel.

Police found dimes scattered across the parking lot and nearby roads as the thieves feverishly tried loading them into other vehicles.

In the end, federal prosecutors charged four Philadelphia men, alleging the group turned the stolen dimes into cash by using Coinstar machines and making bank deposits across Pennsylvania and Maryland. What does this have to do with Match and Fable’s newest role? Nothing. That said, while we’ve got your attention, Jeanne Agius is looking for a Warehouse Manager in Mississauga. Our client is looking for a hands-on Warehouse Manager to lead operations at their rapidly growing distribution center in Mississauga. This role will oversee day-to-day warehouse execution across two buildings, including an upcoming expansion launching this summer.

This is a floor-driven leadership role focused on warehousing operations, people leadership, process flow and operational efficiency. The ideal candidate has already operated successfully at the Warehouse Manager level and knows how to lead in a fast-paced, high-volume environment. RESPONSIBILITIES

·       Lead daily warehouse operations including receiving, put-away, picking, packing, shipping + inventory flow

·       Oversee operations across two warehouse facilities

·       Manage and support Team Leads and warehouse staff across multiple shifts

·       Drive productivity, accuracy, safety and operational performance

·       Improve warehouse layout, flow, and overall efficiency

·       Identify bottlenecks and implement process improvements

·       Support warehouse expansion and operational scaling initiatives

·       Ensure smooth outbound execution and final daily carrier dispatches

·       Maintain SOPs, reporting, and operational compliance standards

·       Partner cross-functionally with operations, customer service and leadership teams

REQUIREMENTS

·       5+ years of warehouse/distribution experience

·       Previous experience operating as a Warehouse Manager

·       Strong understanding of warehouse flow and floor operations

·       Proven people leadership experience in high-volume environments

·       Hands-on leadership style with strong problem-solving ability

·       Experience improving warehouse processes, layouts, or operational efficiency

·       Comfortable working in fast-paced environments with shifting priorities

·       Experience supporting warehouse expansions or multi-site operations

·       Exposure to Lean or continuous improvement environments

·       Experience with WMS or ERP systems

·       Background in high-volume fulfillment or distribution environments

REMUNERATION

BASE SALARY: $90,000 – $95,000

ON-TARGET BONUS (10%): $9,000 – $9,500 ON-TARGET EARNINGS: $99,000 – $104,500
