On February 12, 2013, Thai couple, Ekkachai and Laksana Tiranarat attended an event organized by Ripley's Believe It or Not! in Pattaya, Thailand. They stepped up to one another and kissed. But this wasn’t just any kiss. In fact, their lips did not part for the next 58 hours and 35 minutes as they achieved a new world record! Fittingly, it happened to coincide with Valentine’s Day! In July 2023, The Guinness World Records announced the elimination of the longest-kiss world record, due to safety concerns.

Apparently, the competition had become too dangerous, and some of the new rules conflicted with their updated policies.

Due to the escalating length of the record to be broken and the absence of rest breaks, participants were increasingly vulnerable to the risks associated with sleep deprivation, including the development of psychosis. What does this have to do with Match and Fable’s latest role? Absolutely nothing! Nevertheless, Match and Fable’s Jeanne Agius is looking for an Account Executive to join her client's team. This individual will be selling several exciting lines via a combination of qualifying inbound leads + proactively targeting new logos. SUMMARY: Our client specializes in the automation equipment industry. Representing global manufacturers, they are dedicated to offering top-of-the-line products supporting a wide range of industries, including cannabis, nutraceuticals, cosmetics, confectionery, cultivation, and other sectors seeking automation solutions. POSITION: ACCOUNT EXECUTIVE LOCATION: REMOTE (ANYWHERE IN CANADA) INDUSTRY: INDUSTRIAL AUTOMATION RESPONSIBILITIES:

· Develop + nurture relationships with operators, co-packing facilities, production lines, and cultivation facilities.

· Achieve sales, distribution, and market share objectives.

· Identify new wholesale opportunities to maximize profitability and volume.

· Present, promote, and sell product lines to prospective and current clientele.

· Exceed sales targets by managing the full sales cycle from prospecting to closing.

· Act as a brand ambassador and oversee sales booths at industry trade shows.

· Utilize CRM database with daily customer/prospect interactions to provide accurate sales projections.

· Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure best-in-class execution.


· Post-secondary degree with 3+ years’ sales experience.

· Sales expertise in automation (can be with cannabis, food / beverage, pharmaceutical, cosmetics, confectionery or similar industries.

· Strong verbal, written, and presentation skills.

· A collaborative attitude with a competitive spirit and a strong drive for results.

· Organized, entrepreneurial, charismatic, and able to prioritize multiple tasks.
