That said, now that we have your attention, Mate Pavkovic is looking for a Commercial Litigation Lawyer. SUMMARY: Our client, a prominent full-service litigation firm located in downtown Vancouver, is seeking an Associate Lawyer to join their growing Commercial Litigation group. With over 30 years of experience in the B.C. legal community, the firm is known for its client-focused advocacy and professional excellence. The ideal candidate will have at least four years of litigation experience and the ability to manage complex files independently. A portable practice or book of business is considered an asset.

POSITION:    COMMERCIAL LITIGATION LAWYER LOCATION:   VANCOUVER INDUSTRY:   LEGAL

RESPONSIBILITIES:

·         Conduct legal research and draft pleadings, motions, correspondence, and other court documents

·         Develop and execute litigation strategies in collaboration with clients and colleagues

·         Represent clients in court proceedings, mediations, arbitrations, and negotiations

·         Provide exceptional legal advice and maintain strong client relationships

·         Manage a full caseload from inception through resolution

·         Contribute to the growth and reputation of the firm through professionalism and teamwork

REQUIREMENTS:

·         JD or LLB from an accredited law school

·         Member in good standing with the Law Society of British Columbia

·         4+ years of commercial litigation experience

·         Strong legal writing, analytical, and oral advocacy skills

·         Ability to prioritize and manage competing deadlines

·         Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities

·         Client-focused with a high degree of empathy and integrity

REMUNERATION:

SALARY RANGE: $120,000 – $170,000 + benefits + opportunities for advancement
