That said, while we have your attention, Mate Pavkovic is looking for an Associate Lawyer – Commercial Litigation for our client – one of the world’s leading intellectual property (IP) firms, offering comprehensive expertise in patents, trademarks, designs, and copyright. With a global network of offices across Canada, the UK, Europe, and Asia, they assist clients of all sizes (from start-ups to multinational corporations) in securing and managing their intellectual property worldwide. ASSOCIATE LAWYER – COMMERCIAL LITIGATION (VANCOUVER, BC) THE GIG (IN 9 LINES OR LESS):

·         A full-service litigation firm with 30+ years in Vancouver’s legal community.

·         Work within a growing Commercial Litigation group handling diverse, complex matters.

·         Conduct research, analysis, and draft pleadings, motions, and related documents.

·         Collaborate with clients + internal teams to build effective case strategies.

·         Manage files from initiation through resolution with autonomy.

·         Deliver exceptional, professional client service throughout every stage.

·         Help drive the firm’s continued growth and reputation.

·         Exposure to high-quality advocacy work.

·         Portable practice or partial book of business considered an asset.

WHAT YOU BRING:

·         Juris Doctor + member in good standing with the Law Society of BC.

·         4+ years of litigation experience.

·         Strong research, writing, and analytical skills.

·         Excellent communication + interpersonal ability.

·         Proven ability to manage a caseload independently.

·         Organized, deadline-driven, and collaborative.

COMPENSATION:

Commensurate with experience
