By meticulously tracking every interaction, remembering birthdays, sending thank-you cards, and relentlessly prospecting, Girard sold 13,001 cars in his 15-year career, earning himself a spot in the Guinness Book of World Records as the “World’s Greatest Salesman” – in today’s terms, he'd be referred to as, The G.O.A.T.!

 

What set him apart? He didn’t wait for business to come to him – he hunted it.

He built trust, delivered on service, and created a repeat customer base so loyal they brought friends, family, and co-workers to his door.Over his career, Joe sold an average of 6 cars every single business day! What does this have to do with Match and Fable’s newest role? Not much, really. That said, our client isn’t looking for someone to simply maintain a portfolio.

They’re looking for a true hunter who thrives in the field, builds relationships and closes deals. Our client is a fast-growing distributor of stainless-steel fasteners. They supply manufacturers, construction firms, and machine shops across Canada. Jeanne Agius is looking for an experienced sales professional who will be responsible for developing business across a high-opportunity territory (Barrie, Niagara, Toronto, GTA). From cold leads to reactivating dormant accounts, you’ll build and own a thriving pipeline with the support of inside sales and marketing. POSITION:    SENIOR ACCOUNT EXECUTIVE LOCATION:   GREATER TORONTO AREA TO NIAGARA INDUSTRY:    MRO / INDUSTRIAL SUPPLY

RESPONSIBILITIES

 

·         Own the full sales cycle: prospect → qualify → close → grow

·         Identify new business opportunities across manufacturing, construction, and MRO verticals

·         Build strategic account plans to drive loyalty and repeat sales

·         Collaborate with internal teams to deliver customized, high-value solutions

·         Use tools like CRM, ERP, and LinkedIn Sales Navigator to manage and track pipeline activity

·         Leverage market intelligence to adapt and stay ahead of competitors

 

REQUIREMENTS

 

·         7+ years of B2B sales experience – ideally in industrial distribution, fasteners, MRO, or consumables

·         A track record of net-new business growth (not just maintaining accounts)

·         A hunter mentality and strong strategic sales chops

·         Comfortable being on the road 4-5 days per week

 

REMUNERATION

 

BASE SALARY: $90,000 – $100,000

ON-TARGET VARIABLE: $20,000 (uncapped) ON-TARGET EARNINGS: $110,000 – $120,000 EXTRAS: $1,000/month car allowance, gas/mileage card, benefits, vacation WHAT NOW?
