SUMMARY: Our client, a well-established Toronto-based law firm, is seeking a Corporate/Commercial Lawyer to join their team. This is a full-time hybrid role offering the opportunity to work on complex and challenging files with the full technical, administrative, and peer support necessary for success.

POSITION:    CORPORATE COMMERCIAL LAWYER INDUSTRY:   LEGAL

LOCATION:   TORONTO RESPONSIBILITIES:

·         Advise individual and commercial clients on corporate and commercial legal matters.

·         Draft, review, and negotiate contracts, agreements, and other legal documents.

·         Handle mergers and acquisitions, corporate structuring, and regulatory compliance.

·         Represent clients in business transactions and provide strategic legal guidance.

·         Manage deadlines and ensure legal work is completed efficiently and accurately.

REQUIREMENTS:

·         Juris Doctor (J.D.) or equivalent from an accredited law school.

·         5+ years of relevant corporate/commercial law experience.

·         Strong knowledge of corporate law, regulations, and governance.

·         Experience in contract drafting, negotiation, and mergers & acquisitions.

·         Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

·         Ability to work well under pressure and manage multiple priorities.

·         A partial or full practice with an opportunity to handle internally referred corporate and commercial matters.

REMUNERATION:

SALARY: $140,000 – $250,000 + benefits
