THE KITCHEN MASTERPIECE ($103,500 – $115,000)



For years, it hung barely noticed above a stove in a small French kitchen, accumulating grease and grime. To its 90-year-old owner, the painting was little more than decoration. But during a spring cleaning, a casual decision to call in an expert unraveled an extraordinary mystery. The painting, Christ Mocked, was identified as a 13th-century masterpiece by Florentine artist Cimabue, a figure credited with shaping the transition to Renaissance art. The discovery sent shockwaves through the art world. Initially valued at €400,000, the piece shattered expectations, selling for a staggering €24 million at auction in 2019. The Louvre, desperate to acquire it, was outbid but quickly declared the painting a “national treasure.” A temporary export ban gave the museum 30 months to raise the funds needed to keep it in France. The Louvre launched a campaign to secure Christ Mocked, successfully acquiring it in late 2024. Tragically, the painting’s elderly owner passed away two days after the auction, never witnessing the incredible legacy of the treasure that had hung in her kitchen for years! What does this have to do with Match and Fable’s newest role? Nothing at all. That said, while you’re here, Jeanne Agius is looking for an Account Executive (who can be based in British Columbia -or- Alberta -or- Saskatchewan) – for our client’s Western Canada region. Our multi-national client is the global leader in the industrial parts industry. RESPONSIBILITIES

 

·         Achieve territory sales targets (70% “on-the-road” developing business in Alberta, BC & Saskatchewan).

·         Schedule and conduct in-person visits and phone calls, aligning with management goals.

·         Build relationships with key client contacts within the client base across the assigned territory.

·         Keep clients up to date on product offerings and programs.

·         Analyze client’s parts usage reports to drive additional sales and inform product offerings.

·         Document sales visits, outcomes, and follow-ups in CRM, ensuring accuracy and relevancy.

·         Ensure timely follow-ups with clients and internal teams to address issues or leverage sales opportunities.

 

REQUIREMENTS

 

·         5+ years of sales experience in the industrial equipment industry.

·         MUST HAVE: Parts experience in the construction equipment space.

·         Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and Google Products, with essential computer skills.

·         Capable of making client presentations with excellent interpersonal and communication abilities.

·         Strong business acumen, time management and organizational skills.

 

REMUNERATION

 

BASE SALARY: $90,000 – $100,000

ON-TARGET VARIABLE: $13,500 – $15,000 ON-TARGET EARNINGS: $103,500 – $115,000
