On January 6, 1995, McArthur Wheeler and Clifton Earl Johnson decided to rob, not one, but two banks in Pittsburgh! At 2:47pm, the duo entered the Swissvale branch of Mellon Bank, and one of them approached a teller with a semi-automatic handgun as the other waited in line. They fled the bank with $5,200 (USD) in hand and headed to their next location – in Brighton Heights. The pair didn’t wear masks or try to hide their identity in any way as they believed they had discovered a foolproof method to avoid detection. Johnson was arrested within 3 weeks, and 3 months later, Wheeler joined him after his identity was revealed in a surveillance photo.
Johnson pleaded guilty to the Mellon Bank robbery and two others, receiving a five-year sentence. Wheeler, stunned by his identification, was sentenced to over 24 years in prison. It was later revealed that their failed disguise attempt involved applying lemon juice to their faces, believing it would render them invisible to security cameras! What does this have to do with Match and Fable’s newest role? Nothing at all. But while you’re here, Jeanne Agius is looking for a Territory Sales Manager in Western Canada for our multi-national client who happens to be the global leader in the industrial parts industry. The position can be based in British Columbia -or- Alberta -or- Saskatchewan! POSITION: TERRITORY SALES MANAGER TERRITORY: WESTERN CANADA LOCATION: BRITISH COLUMBIA / ALBERTA / SASKATCHEWAN INDUSTRY: INDUSTRIAL PARTS
RESPONSIBILITIES
· Achieve territory sales targets (70% “on-the-road” developing business in Alberta, BC & Saskatchewan).
· Schedule and conduct in-person visits and phone calls, aligning with management goals.
· Build relationships with key client contacts within the client base across the assigned territory.
· Keep clients up to date on product offerings and programs.
· Analyze client’s parts usage reports to drive additional sales and inform product offerings.
· Document sales visits, outcomes, and follow-ups in CRM, ensuring accuracy and relevancy.
· Ensure timely follow-ups with clients and internal teams to address issues or leverage sales opportunities.
REQUIREMENTS
· 5+ years of sales experience in the industrial equipment industry.
· MUST HAVE: Parts experience in the construction equipment space.
· Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and Google Products, with essential computer skills.
· Capable of making client presentations with excellent interpersonal and communication abilities.
· Strong business acumen, time management and organizational skills.
REMUNERATION
BASE SALARY: $95,000 – $105,000
ON-TARGET VARIABLE: $13,500 – $15,000 ON-TARGET EARNINGS: $108,500 – $120,000
