THIS IS A STICK-UP ($85,000 – $90,000+)

A little past midnight on March 18, 1990, two ‘policemen’ pounded on the doors of the Gardner Museum in Boston. They demanded entry, claiming they were following up on a noise complaint.

Two security guards buzzed them into the building, and both were immediately ‘arrested’.

They were ushered to the basement of the museum where the ‘policemen’ proceeded to duct-tape them and explain their true intentions – to commit the largest private property theft in the history of the world!

The thieves removed 13 paintings, including priceless works from Rembrandt van Rijn & Johannes Vermeer, from the museum’s walls.

On their way out, they stopped to grab a Chinese bronze vessel – from the Shang dynasty! The actual police didn’t arrive until after 8:00am, the next morning.

As such, in just over an hour, $500 million worth of art was stolen – and some 30+ years later, every piece remains missing.

What does this have to do with Match and Fable’s latest role?

Well, nothing really.

That said, while you’re here, Janna French is on the search for a Sales Executive for our logistics client.


With offices based in Surrey, BC, our client has been in operation for 25+ years as a full-service North American logistics service provider. They are great at what they do and particularly skilled in heavy hauls – transporting over-dimensional + temperature-controlled moves.

The desired candidate will be responsible for generating sales leads within British Columbia by networking, cold-calling, F2F meetings and relationship procurement. POSITION: SALES EXECUTIVE LOCATION: SURREY, BRITISH COLUMBIA INDUSTRY: LOGISTICS OFFICE: REMOTE (WITH REGULAR CHECK-INS)


· Negotiate contracts + sustainable rates with shippers & carriers.

· Maintain relationships with existing clientele + build share of wallet business.

· Target new client logos to expand company footprint.

· Implement sales strategies via market information, analyzing opportunities + documenting sales process.

· Respond to prospect inquiries by preparing responses to RFPs & RFQs.

· Prepare presentations & delivering to prospective clients.


· 5+ years of territory/outside sales experience working within the transportation industry (3PL).

· Verifiable strong client relationships with a transferrable book of business (preferred).

· Strong Operations knowledge.

· Excellent communicator; capable of working independently + with a team.

· Strong geographical knowledge base of BC region.

· Strong carrier knowledge + exceptional sales hunting capabilities.

· Experience in securing sales targets of $1MM+ per annum (preferred).


SALARY: $85,000 – $90,000
