During World War II, Vesta Stoudt watched ammunition boxes rattle down the line at the Green River Ordnance Plant. Soldiers needed to open them fast, but the thin paper tabs snapped off too easily. “Someone should fix this,” her coworkers said. Vesta wiped her hands on her apron. Someone almost always meant, no one. So, she tried a stronger cloth tape and It worked. She showed supervisors and while they nodded, politely, they did nothing. That night, at her kitchen table, Vesta wrote a letter, not to her boss, but straight to President Franklin D. Roosevelt – complete with hand-drawn diagrams. Weeks later, a reply finally arrived. Vesta’s idea was approved and production began. And that’s when the world learned the twist:The woman who simply wanted soldiers to open a box faster had accidentally invented something that would go on to hold together leaky pipes, broken furniture, squeaky cars, wobbly fences, and half the world’s questionable home repairs. Duct tape. Her small wartime fix became everyone’s peacetime fix. What does this have to do with Match and Fable’s latest role? Nothing at all. That said, while we have your attention, Jeanne Agius is looking for a sales professional who will develop business across a high-opportunity territory (Barrie, Niagara, Toronto, GTA). From cold leads to reactivating dormant accounts, you’ll build and own a thriving pipeline with the support of inside sales and marketing. SENIOR ACCOUNT EXECUTIVE (TORONTO TO NIAGARA) THE GIG (IN 9 LINES OR LESS):

  • Join a leader in MRO and industrial supply.

  • Own the full sales cycle: prospect → qualify → close → grow.

  • Break into manufacturing, construction, and MRO verticals.

  • Build strategic account plans to drive loyalty + repeat sales.

  • Work closely with internal teams to deliver customized solutions.

  • Use CRM, ERP, and Sales Navigator to track and grow pipeline.

  • Leverage market intel to stay ahead of competitors.

  • Be on the road visiting clients 4–5 days per week.

  • High autonomy + room to grow.

WHAT YOU BRING:

  • 5+ years B2B sales experience (industrial, MRO, fasteners, consumables ideal).

  • Proven net-new business hunter.

  • Strong strategic sales ability.

  • Comfort managing large territories + heavy travel.

  • Confident communicator with strong follow-through.

COMPENSATION:

  • SALARY: $90,000 – $100,000

  • ON-TARGET VARIABLE: $20,000 (uncapped)

  • OTE: $110,000 ww2– $120,000

  • $800/month car allowance + gas card + benefits + vacation
