One of seven children, Johnny Cash was born in Arkansas on February 26, 1932, and grew up on the family farm. The Cash family made a very modest living in the cotton fields – a job Johnny was introduced to at the young age of 5! 46 years later, and following significant financial success as a country singer, Johnny had built the “House of Cash” on a farm, 25 miles outside Nashville – where he kept exotic animals. The winter of 1981 was exceptionally harsh and as such, Johnny decided to move his animals into shelters to help them survive. Johnny approached his 7-foot ostrich – Waldo, but the big bird wasn’t in a co-operative mood.
As Johnny cornered Waldo, the ostrich leapt into the air and delivered a vicious kick – splitting Johnny’s stomach wide-open. The force of the impact resulted in 5 broken ribs and internal bleeding.

With 50+ years of experience, our client specializes in freight forwarding, customs brokerage, warehousing, and supply chain management – with a particular focus in the retail, manufacturing, and technology industries. This position is a mix of business development and account management. POSITION: SENIOR ACCOUNT EXECUTIVE LOCATION: GREATER TORONTO AREA INDUSTRY: GLOBAL LOGISTICS SOLUTIONS
RESPONSIBILITIES
· Develop new client relationships and generate business revenue streams.
· Identify and pursue new business opportunities within Canada.
· Create and implement a prospecting plan to target potential clients.
· Maintain a strong understanding of client business segments and competitive solutions.
· Analyze client needs to develop tailored service solutions.
· Negotiate pricing and conditions for services, proposing complementary offerings.
· Anticipate client demand evolution and adapt service offerings accordingly.
· Collaborate with internal teams to create innovative value propositions.
· Utilize company CRM for effective portfolio management and information sharing.
REQUIREMENTS
· 3+ years of mid-to-senior-level solution sales experience.
· MUST HAVE: 3PL / Freight Forwarding / Transportation industry.
· Proficient in Microsoft Office; experience with Salesforce CRM is a plus.
· Proven track record in integrated solution selling with concrete sales accomplishments.
· Innovative mindset with a focus on driving change.
· Detail-oriented and highly organized with strong presentation / communication skills.
REMUNERATION
BASE SALARY: $110,000 – $145,000
ON-TARGET VARIABLE: $70,000 (uncapped) ON-TARGET EARNINGS: $180,000 – $215,000 WHAT NOW?
