WILMA ($45,000 – $60,000)

Wilma Rudolph was born June 23, 1940, in St. Bethlehem, Tennessee. As a child, she battled double pneumonia, scarlet fever, and polio.
Doctors told her she would never walk again.
Her mother told her she would.
Wilma chose to believe her mother.
Through years of determination and intense physical therapy, she learned to walk again – and eventually became one of the fastest women in the world.
At 16, she competed in the 1956 Olympics and won bronze in the 4×100-meter relay.
Four years later, at the 1960 Olympics in Rome, Rudolph won three gold medals: (100 meters + 200 meters + 4×100-meter relay.)
She set an Olympic record in the 200 meters and helped set a world record in the relay.
Wilma Rudolph went from being told she would never walk again to becoming the first American woman to win three Olympic gold medals in track and field at a single Games. What does this have to do with Match and Fable’s latest role?
Nothing at all.
