SUMMARY: Our client, a well-established Toronto-based law firm, is seeking a Family Lawyer to join their team. This full-time position offers the opportunity to handle complex family law cases with comprehensive technical, administrative, and peer support.

POSITION:    FAMILY LAWYER INDUSTRY:   LEGAL

LOCATION:   TORONTO RESPONSIBILITIES:

·         Provide legal advice and representation to clients in family law matters.

·         Draft, review, and negotiate legal documents related to family law cases.

·         Represent clients in court proceedings and mediation sessions.

·         Conduct thorough legal research to support client cases.

·         Manage deadlines and ensure efficient, accurate completion of legal work.

REQUIREMENTS:

·         Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.

·         Member in good standing with the Law Society of Ontario.

·         3+ years of experience in family law.

·         Excellent communication, negotiation, analytical, and research skills.

·         Strong litigation and negotiation abilities.

·         Ability to perform under pressure and meet deadlines.

·         Experience in mediation and alternative dispute resolution – a plus.

·         A partial or full practice with the opportunity to handle internally referred matters.

REMUNERATION:

SALARY: $110,000 – $180,000 + benefits
